The agreement was signed by Iranian Women and Family Affairs Vice President Ensieh Khazali and Indonesia’s Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Minister I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati during the visit of Iran’s Deputy President for Women and Family Affairs to Jakarta.
The MoU aims to expand ties in the field of empowering women and families, increasing the health, safety, and productivity of the family, and preventing and eliminating social harm.
It also includes clauses on exchanging information and experiences and removing challenges and obstacles to women’s progress.
The MoU is valid for two years and can be extended for the same period.
